We are working with a practice who play an active role in the community and enjoy excellent customer feedback, want to talk to highly skilled and experienced small animal veterinary surgeons looking to step into a Clinical Director role. They are open to a rota that you are looking for and they are based in the beautiful cathedral town of Ely, with excellent transport links into Central London and Cambridge.
You will be joining a supportive and committed team with an extremely loyal client base, a high percentage of those being insured, and they see a wide variety of cases including orthopaedics. They also have visiting certified and specialist Vets, as well as on site physio consultations, so they have plenty to offer and are able to support a Vet who is keen to develop their medical and surgical skills.
Their practice is based in a standalone building in a rural, attractive area with state of the art equipment including ultrasound, laser, a well-equipped dental suite including x-ray and in-house laboratory and digital X-ray coming soon.

You will be supporting their new graduates through their PDP, developing clinical protocols and structuring the workload of the team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice. You will have sound surgical skills as well as excellent consultation skills, comfortable with some sole charge. An approachable and consultative style is essential in this role as the team take great pride in the relationships they have built with their patients, clients and local community. Support is available for anyone interested in studying towards a certificate.
This role is full time or part time and includes a weekend rota of 1 in 3.
In return, the practice offer:
• Competitive salary
• Pension scheme
• Generous CPD and funding of certificates
